BE GENTLE WITH THEM
The Cancer is a is super, super sensitive, but they don’t like to admit it. They have a really hard time expressing themselves, so you’ve got to learn how to react to some of the things that they say and maybe tone down some of the things that you say! They are super romantic, super sentimental and they love little surprises!
WORK TO GAIN THEIR TRUST
They have trust issues with most people and you are going to really have to work hard to try to gain their trust. It will be hard but so worth it when you do. Just remember, a Cancer is someone that doesn’t trust easily, but once you have it, it’s hard to break it.
TOUCH THEM GENTLY
The Cancer is very tactile, loves to be touched, so touch cancer gently on the arm, shoulder or, best of all, the back of the hand. This is likely to make cancer immediately well-disposed toward you. Make sure your hands are warm first.
BE PATIENT
Patience is necessary if you are trying to attract a Cancer. Once you attract cancer it is an attraction that will last. Attracting a Cancer might be hard, but it is honestly one of the most rewarding things in the world. They don’t open up that quickly, so they don’t allow themselves to be known really easily. Let them come to you, let them know you before you start to pry, otherwise you could lose cancer quicker than you think.

There’s no point letting him know how you feel, or subtly suggesting that you find him attractive. They have fear of rejection and they will not see these as compliments; instead, he will perceive them as opportunities to be rejected and humiliated. The Cancer is extremely well-domesticated and house-proud. If you just mention that you spent Sunday cleaning your home, or cooking a meal (“just like Mother makes”), you’ll see cancers eyes light up with glee.
DO NOT CRITICIZE
Be wary of is criticism. The Cancer does not respond at all well to criticism, no matter how well intentioned it may be. Don’t be surprised if something mildly critical you may have said in passing is suddenly thrown in your face months or years later!
